The CUSD Foundation is a non-profit fundraising entity, separate from the school district. The Capistrano Unified School District encompasses 56 schools with over 50,000 students. It covers over 154 square miles in seven cities.

The needs of a district this size, combined with the current budget crisis, are enormous. We here at the CUSD Foundation are committed to supporting the education of the students this district serves. Our goal is to support district-wide programs of enrichment including technology and music. The Foundation sponsors transportation for 4th graders from throughout the district to attend a symphony at Lake Hills Community Church, as well as sponsoring conductors for the annual “Honors Concerts” in the spring. We have a Grant Incentives For Teachers (G.I.F.T.) program which provides much-needed grants to teachers. These grants have funded science equipment, upgraded computers, video equipment, reading material, computer software, and many more essentials for the classrooms. Your donations are vital to the support of these valuable programs.

Annual Membership Drive
Look for information coming soon to become a member of the CUSD Foundation. This is your opportunity to show that you support the children in the district. You have the option of a one-time donation or a monthly donation, in the amount of your choice. You can be sure that your donation will go directly for the valuable programs we support.

You also have the option to donate online, via this website, simply by clicking the link to PayPal, Google, or donating by fax or mail. You can find these links right on our homepage in the upper right-hand corner.

Donating Goods / Services
The Foundation hosts fundraising events such as the annual “Golf Event” and “Keys to the Future”, which is an opportunity drawing to win a new car. Auctions are a part of these events that everyone looks forward to. If you have goods or services that you would like to offer as part of an auction at our next event, please contact the Foundation.

Donate Through eScrip

You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program. Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.

Cars 4 Causes has partnered with Capistrano Unified School District Foundation. Cars 4 Causes specializes in car donations and your donation through Cars 4 Causes will help raise money for Capistrano Unified School District Foundation.
